History
The restaurant has been open for 15 years, becoming a favourite haunt for rugby and bullfighting enthusiasts. It is the expression of Basque and Spanish traditions with delicious cuisine in a typical setting. A must if you are passing through Biarritz.

Location
The restaurant is right in the centre of the resort on the main street, within easy reach of 3 car-parks.

Décor
Enjoy a lively, genuinely Spanish atmosphere with Spanish and Basque music, bulls and bullfighters. The tables were crafted in Spain and are decorated with the traditional Azulejos tiles. The crockery also has a local theme, decorated with bulls and peppers in true Basque style. The walls are covered with photos of artists, as well as of the great bullfighters who have dropped in over the years when here for fights in the bullring. The restaurant is a favourite with celebrities. There is music by a guitarist in the evening. The capacity of the restaurant is 85 places and group meals with entertainment can be organised.

Staff
Aged from 20 to 50, some of the staff have been at El Callejon since it opened 15 years ago.
